Smart Columbus is committing to reducing single occupant vehicle commutes to major employers by 10% by 2020 to help reduce congestion, decrease emissions and help our city grow in a competitive, sustainable way. To decrease our dependence on personal vehicle ownership, we'll bring people on board to grow our ecosystem with more multi-modal options—including improving existing services and adding new ones that let people leave their cars at home, or get around better without one.
